BIOGRAPHY
Yusun Won, born in Jeju, South Korea, studied ceramics at Kookmin University based in Seoul, Korea, completing a BFA and MFA in ceramics. (2012-2019) She completed an MA in ceramics and maker with distinction at Cardiff Metropolitan University in Cardiff, United Kingdom (2020-21). Yusun had her first solo exhibition at KCDF gallery, sponsored by Korea Craft Design Foundation (2019). She participated in multiple group exhibitions and art fairs like Collect across Korea, United Kingdom, and internationally. Yusun is the winner of CICC 2019 Craft at Cheong Ju International Craft Competition and the awarded work is in the permanent collection. She is a selected member of the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain.
